I was encouraged by a friend to read this book. Since this was the author's first book I did not have high expectations. Churchwell hooked me in the first few pages and held my attention through out the book. I did need medical attention for the whiplash twist in the plot.
not the best I have ever read, but holds attention and has lots of detail and holds interest for me.
This was a killer read. I liked the suspense. Well written and very imaginative. I saw this was a series so I am really looking forward to the next. If the followups are as interesting as the first, I hope the author makes a long run!
This was a sleeper.
This book may in fact make Oliver Stone ponder why he didn't come up with this book's conspiracy theory. A well thought out government conspiracy to the highest level which truly makes you think about the "what if" in our past 1960's and 1970's political assassinations. The author sends you on a rollercoaster ride full of twists and turns. I am looking forward to the second book to this series.
I purchased this on after reading Donald's latest book, 'Drop Dead Gorgeous'. I read it over an afternoon of layovers and flying. It moved quickly, with a well thought out story. Great book for readers of mystery/action/adventure.
I understand this is the author's first book. I bought this book on Saturday afternoon and could not put it down. Growing up during the historical time refered to in this book, I can relate to the events and even see where this theory could be true. I think the author spent alot of time making sure that the surroundings and current events were realistic. i applaud his efforts and look forward to his second book!
